Goat's Milk is wonderful for the skin! Goat's Milk contains natural emollients, vitamins and triglycerides that moisturize the skin. It contains the reputed highly effective moisturizer capric-capryllic triglyceride. People who prefer goat milk soap claim that it is far less drying and harsh than ordinary soap. For those with sensitive or extra dry skin, Goat's Milk is wonderful for soothing and moisturizing!
Other types/fragrances will be available as I make them and cure them. If you have a special request, convo me and I can try to accommodate your request, keeping in mind that CP soaps take a few to several weeks to cure!
This Cold-Process Soap recipe has now settled in to become my Signature recipe after 3 years of experimenting and tweaking and trying! At 20% Shea Butter and superfatting to 8%, this bar of soap is nicely conditioning and cleansing, and has a nice amount of creamy bubbles with lots of moisturizing oils left to nourish the skin!
My same 20% shea butter soap formula, but now with added Tussah Silk!! Adds a wonderful silky feel to the soap!!
Made using the cold process method of soapmaking and cured at least 4 weeks to harden and make a longer lasting bar of soap. Oils used with this recipe are:
Coconut: lends to bar hardness and lather.
Palm Kernel Oil: Contributes to the hardness of the bar.
Sweet Almond Oil: Conditioning ad Moisturizing for the skin!
Castor Oil: contributes to a wonderful lather, and is a humectant, meaning is helps to drawn in moisture!
Shea Butter: Wonderful for dry, itchy, eczema prone skin! Very Moisturizing!
and
Olive Oil: Moisturizing, Humectant properties and lends to a wonderful slip and lather.
